Day Fishing
Experience unforgettable day fishing adventures at HideAway Lakes, Texas. Cast your lines into the only oxbow lakes of West Texas, teeming with blue, channel, and white catfish. Our secluded haven offers the perfect backdrop for anglers of all levels.
Saturdays & Sundays in Spring, Summer, & Fall 2024
- Closed Monday - Friday
- Gates open at 7 AM, Saturday mornings.
- Day fishing ends at 5 PM. Please plan for a prompt departure.
- Please know the Park Rules before visiting.
- For safety reasons, we do not allow people to be dropped off.
- Parents, please keep your children with you - at your campsite.
- Parents, please accompany your minor children (17 & under) to the bait shack & restrooms.
Upon Arrival
- Please be prepared to show a valid driver's license & proof of auto insurance, as required by the State of Texas. Contact Carla Medrano at Comparion Insurance Agency for your auto insurance needs, at 915-479-6650.
- If you are paying with a credit card, the card must match the driver's license.
- Park staff will check coolers, bags, trunks, etc., for glass. Please keep your ice in its original bag.

Cost
- Entrance is $20 (1 vehicle & 5 people). If your group is 3 or more vehicles, or you want to reserve your favorite fishing spot, please call to make a reservation with your credit card.
- Fishing is $15/rod *Limit 3 catfish per fishing pass.
- Live & Fresh Frozen Bait is available at our Bait Shack.
- Pet Fee: $15 ~ most campsites are SMALL dog-friendly. Please see Park Rules for dog requirements.
