A quick note:

HideaAway Lakes is intended to be a quiet, peaceful place.

• Loud speakers are not permitted. Maintain noise levels that are only audible within your own campsite.
• Profanity, aggressive behavior, or harassment will not be tolerated.
• If you encounter any loud or inappropriate behavior, please promptly report it to our park staff.

Respecting the land keeps this place open for everyone. Guests who disturb the atmosphere may be asked to leave without refund and may be denied future access to the park.

Entry is by reservation only. We offer two types of access to the park:

Day Passes

• Valid from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Daytime use only.
• Shade canopies, umbrellas, etc. are encouraged, along with anchors/weights to properly secure your shade from strong gusts of wind that may randomly occur.
• No tent or RV setup permitted. 

Overnight Pass

• Check-in: 6:00 PM 
• Check-out: 5:00 PM the Next Day 
• Reservation required for all overnight stays
• Tent and RV setup is only permitted with an Overnight Pass

Access outside of these times is not permitted.

We stock Blue, Channel, and White Catfish. Fishing is included with entry.

• All fishing is catch & release only.
• Texas fishing licenses are not required as we are private property.
• Each guest may use up to 2 fishing poles per person, per pass. 
• Only 1 hook per fishing rod is permitted. We do not allow fishing with cast nets or throw nets, sticks, bottles, soda cans, etc.
• We do not rent or sell fishing rods at this time, so don’t forget to bring your own rod & reel. Check out our Bait Shack for live & fresh frozen bait!
• Please do not throw unused bait in the lake. We kindly ask you give it to a neighboring angler or park staff thank you. 

Theft of fish, intentionally injuring wildlife, or disregard for limits may result in removal and denial of future access.

Parking is limited and managed for safety. The park speed limit is 5 mph.

• One vehicle is included with each reservation
• Additional vehicles must be listed on the reservation form and require a separate fee per vehicle
• Vehicles must be parked in designated areas only
• Off-road vehicles, ATVs, and dirt bikes are not permitted
• All guests must arrive and depart in their own vehicle. Drop-offs and ride-shares are not permitted.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in designated areas, and we appreciate owners helping keep the property safe for everyone. 

• Any dog that shows aggressive behavior toward people, other dogs, wildlife, or livestock must be removed immediately 
• Injuries or damage caused by a dog are the sole responsibility of the owner 
• Dogs must be leashed and under owner control at all times
• Dogs are not permitted near restrooms or in the water
• Owners must clean up after their dogs

Owners are fully responsible for their dog’s behavior while in the park.

HideAway Lakes is home to many birds and lots of wildlife!

• Do not disturb the wildlife or any nests you may come across
• Fires are permitted only where allowed and must follow posted guidelines
• Unsafe items (glass, fireworks, confetti, etc.) are not permitted
• Do not damage natural habitats; we do not allow nails, screws, ropes, lines, hammocks, etc. to be tied onto or inserted into trees, shrubs, or other structures
• Do not hang from or climb on trees

Intentional harm to animals, wildlife harassment, or damage to natural habitats may result in removal without refund and denial of future access.

Children must remain under adult supervision at all times

• A parent or legal guardian must always accompany their children (guests 17 and younger) while they are in the park 
• Parents/Guardians are fully responsible for their children’s safety, their actions, and their security at all times and for any disturbance caused to other guests

We welcome cross-country travelers looking for a quiet place to rest for the night, recharge, and enjoy a brief West Texas pause. Same-day overnight stays may be available depending on capacity. If you’re on the road, just give us a call so we can get you settled.

These policies are enforced to protect guests, staff, and the property.

• Violations may result in immediate removal without refund
• Repeat violations may result in denial of future reservations
• We reserve the right to refuse service, deny entry, or ask any guest to leave at any time for any reason related to safety, behavior, or policy violations

Failure to leave when asked may result in law enforcement being contacted
